Event #6 was a memorable night where John Hoosline and Peter Kliber battled heads up in only both of their second entries of the season. Based on their success so far this season, it would be wise that they continue to show up.

While each player has only played in two events this year, their excellent finishes keeps them towards the very top of the points leaderboard. John currently sits in third place because of his 2nd (event #3) place finish and his win tonight, while Peter sits only 1.51 points behind him with his 1st (event #2) place finish and his runner-up finish in event #6.

In the final hand, John flopped a monster with his K6 as the flop read 7KK. Peter held 75 and flopped a decent hand with two-pair. By the time the turn card brought the 6, Peter and John both raised one another with Peter making the final raise all-in before John quickly called him. John's full house was un-beatable and a meaningless 6 fell on the river to secure the win for John.

With 18 entries, John could have taken home $345 as top prize but as heads-up action began, Peter and John agreed to split first and second place money and battled heads-up for points instead. The next tournament is scheduled for June 2nd at 2:00 pm.
