In just his third-ever entry, Mark Schiminski took down a field of 13 other players in route to his first-ever cash and win in Event #9. Mark seemingly couldn't lose any hand he chose to play and picked up a little bit of luck when he picked up the ultimate holding in the final hand versus Kimmy Levercom.

Mark had Kimmy outchipped by a considerable margin at the start of heads-up and kept putting the pressure on Kimmy by moving all in almost every hand pre-flop leaving Kimmy with limited options when she tried playing a hand.

Kimmy seemingly grew tired of folding hand after hand and watching her small amount of chips disappear and decided to call with King-high showing K3 but unfortunately for her she needed to improve in a big way as she was only 11% to win the hand pre-flop as soon as Mark showed the best possible starting hand with his AA.

With the flop showing 2QJ, Kimmy had less than 4% of winning the hand as she needed to catch running cards to defeat Mark. Unfortunately for Kimmy, she ended up finishing in second place for the second time this season with the turn card being the Q followed by the meaningless 4.

With 14 entries, Mark took home $249 for first place in his first-ever cash. The next tournament is scheduled for August 11th at 2:00 pm.
